Spark Couplings also offers high quality RRL (removable radially) couplings that meet the needs of today’s maintenance professionals. The RRL couplings are one of the L-Series Jaw Couplings, and they have been specifically designed for use in “spacer” applications.
The RRL Advantage:
One fundamental advantage of the RRL coupling is that it gives you the ability to remove the coupling component without repositioning the motor or equipment to which the motor drives (i.e., the ‘drop out’ feature) thus providing significant savings of time for maintenance associated with replacing pump seals and in the case of an inspection of a motor.
RRL couplings are produced to standard shaft diameters and are very commonly used in chemical and process applications.
